This course teaches the principles and practices of effective quality management systems in accordance with the ISO 14000 Series of Standards and ISO 19011, "Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems." To provide individuals with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of auditing techniques to meet system requirements (ISO 14001) for assessing suppliers, internal system review, evaluation, improvements, and risk assessment. What management believes in good faith is happening frequently differs from what is actually happening. Audits are necessary to ensure that your environmental programs are cost-effective and to minimize your organization's risk.
