Environmental Policy

Policy Intent

This Policy is intended to formally demonstrate the commitment of Complete Integrated Certification Services (CICS) towards an effective Environmental Management System.  The Managing Director, together with the Management Team has established this Policy to create a sense of direction and set out the principals for the business.  This Policy will be used in future for setting objectives to assist all levels in leading the business towards improvement of our environmental performance and enhancing client and stakeholder satisfaction.

The Policy

It is the policy of CICS the management and employees that, through our activities and service, we will conform to current applicable environmental legislation, regulations and other requirements to which we subscribe in a responsible manner.  We will establish processes to identify and effectively implement continual improvement in our environmental performance.

We undertake to:

• Safeguard our employees, customers and the public against unacceptable risk with regard to environmental issues.
• Minimise the impact of our activities, prevent pollution and, wherever practicable through our activities, enhance the environment and be socially aware.
• Establish processes that will identify and minimise the harmful effects of the business activities upon the environment.
• Integrate environmental considerations into the business operations and planning.
• Provide appropriate resources, information, training and management to maintain the environmental management system.

All aspects of our activities will be communicated openly to our employees, stakeholders and interested parties to elevate our culture to one of intrinsic commitment.

Periodic reviews will be undertaken to measure achievement of the business objectives, monitor commitment to continual improvement and confirm continued suitability of this Policy.

This Policy is contained within the CICS Business Processes and is openly available to all employees and subcontractors. The Policy is publicly available upon request.
