CICS Ventures into the Korean Market

CICS has signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Korean Quality Assurance (KQA), an established certification body in the Republic of South Korea, to work together to provide services for the growing ‘green’ market in this region.

The bringing together of CICS international verification services with KQA’s presence and reputation in Korea will enable both parties to explore how they can work together to serve those customers who will be affected by the proposed Emissions Trading Scheme and those who wish to undertake voluntary carbon footprinting or Corporate Responsibility assurance.

Shaun Bainbridge, Director at CICS says:  “The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with KQA enables CICS to expand its verification services into a new market.  Having verified $8 billion of CO2 to date, across Europe and North America, we are well placed to help customers understand verification and assurance services and how these can help their business.”
