Abstract
Against the background of global warming and Climate Change, the presentation will focus on the whys and hows of carbon footprinting - why measure your carbon footprint and what types of footprint are measured. Factors to be considered when measuring a carbon footprint will also be discussed - scope and boundaries, calculation methodologies, emission factors. The benefits of independent verification, in terms of what it adds to the accuracy, validity and credibility of your data will also be detailed.
